A Year of Creativity in the Face of Adversity
It’s putting it mildly to say this wasn’t the year any of us had in mind. Yet despite closures, toilet paper shortages and navigating the hardships and challenges of keeping ourselves and our framing businesses alive in a pandemic, you rolled up your sleeves, put forward a brave face and continued to deliver some truly amazingly beautiful pieces to your customers.
These were the biggest frame moments of 2020 - according to our Instagram. Let’s look at how we all got our creative on in the midst of all the chaos.
MOST LIKES on a Bella Post: When Bella Moulding #stayshome
When non-essential businesses were shuttered in Chicago in late March, I was forced to look much closer to home for inspiration for fresh content to share. Luckily, I love framing and have plenty of Bella Moulding to keep me company around the house. The Bella post you liked the most this year featured this hand-painted maple cap frame project. It is one of the first pieces of “real art” I ever bought in my 20s and hand-painting the frame to match was and still is very much my approach to what custom framing can and should do for a piece of art.
MOST COMMENTS on a Bella Post: The DYI Prisma Frame
This post we shared from @Framezillapgh got everyone talking. It’s a fine example of hand-painting the frame for a super creative touch. They deliver a truly one-of-a-kind bespoke product which unites art and frame.
It turns out this is one of Framezilla’s signature moves. You guys are having too much fun!

Let’s use all the colors! The Rainbow from the Parade collection brings an extra bit of cheer to any wall! We’re very proud that this frame has been so well received.

Finding yourselves with closed doors in the spring and some time on your hands, many of you worked on rearranging the samples on the walls. We loved seeing the creative ways you highlighted new things in store for your customers to get excited about.
