It’s been a long cold lonely winter indeed, but the world is slowly opening back up like a hopeful spring bud. Perfect time for some new energizing design options for your shop and our Spring 2021 launch is now available for sampling! We have three collections which all speak to home decor trends for nostalgia and throwback. Enjoy exploring options in sleek colorful lacquers, ornate floral metallics and inspired retro texture. There’s something to thrill everyone and most importantly to thrill your customers.
The second new collection is a shining example of a sweet flowing floral. Introducing Lilian.
LILIAN
As a flower, the lily is a symbol of purity and love. As a name, Lilian was first made popular in the 1700s. She’s a subtle nod to nature who isn’t quite as obvious as her sisters Violet, Rose, and Daisy, but certainly just as beautiful. Indeed, the phrase “to gild the lily” means to unnecessarily adorn something which is already beautiful. Lilies have long been an inspiration for the decorative arts from the Egyptians to art nouveau to modern decor.
Our Lilian is a petite classically ornate moulding with a stylized art nouveau flair. The use of this flowing floral pattern is not revolutionary, but it can be haut couture when paired with today’s style of contemporary prints. Lilian is perfectly poised for the Grandmillenial trend of pairing the classic with the quirky and modern.
Everything old is new again. Grandmillenial style, which also goes by “Grandma Chic”, encompasses classic decor like flowery wallpaper, wicker, fine china, antique paintings and crocheted throws but combines them with modernity and surprising, funky color schemes to create whimsy. It’s touches of kitsch and vintage but with a cleverly curated restraint.
Our Lilian is hand-finished with silver or gold leaf and just the right amount of antiquing. She’s an elegant and timeless lady who’s the life of the party and comfortable in any setting.
