New Bella WINTER 2026: Alhambra
A new season calls for new design stories. For Winter 2026, we’re introducing two brand new Bella collections, debuting at WCAF in Orlando, February 27–March 1 — beginning with a line rooted in one of the most mathematically and artistically remarkable decorative traditions in the world: Alhambra.
MEET ALHAMBRA
Inspired by the legendary Alhambra palace in Granada, Spain, this collection draws from centuries-old Moorish tile work known for its intricate symmetry, interlocking geometry and mesmerizing color. The original patterns are so mathematically precise that they contain nearly all known tessellation groups — a rare achievement in world architecture — and famously helped inspire M. C. Escher’s explorations of repeating pattern and visual rhythm.
We translated that legacy into a series of finely detailed arabesque mouldings that feel both historic and strikingly current — where pattern becomes texture and color becomes structure.
The Alhambra line features seven richly dimensional finishes with a refined, detailed face. Each piece carries the same interwoven motif across a range of expressive finishes, including Ancient Cobalt, Valley of Turquoise, Oxidized Purple, Alhambra Red, Earthen Brown, Olived Peridot, and Carved Cream.
Each finish reveals the pattern differently — sometimes bold and high-contrast, sometimes softly burnished — making the same geometry feel entirely new from one frame to the next.
These mouldings shine on vintage prints, textile art, global and architectural subjects and graphic compositions where repetition and rhythm echo the frame itself. They also pair beautifully with layered mats and rich fabrics, letting pattern speak to pattern in an intentional way.
Proof that when design is built on perfect structure, it never goes out of style.
