CONGRATULATIONS to TARAN PARSONS
of Brownsboro Framing; Louisville, KY
Taran’s customers are in the middle of downsizing for retirement and working to create the perfect cozy nest to be a forever home. This majestic lithograph will be hanging in the newly redone bathroom. The customer is more of an adventurous type and thus was ready to play a bit and frame to create a unique and special piece.
While the space may have dictated something more simple in chrome or white to match bathroom fixtures, Taran and the client chose to let the art dictate their design direction instead of the room. They wanted to bring out the texture in the piece and select a frame with natural elements.
In swooped the Quarry collection and its very organic creviced texture. The variations from light to dark in the turquoise blue are a perfect match to the color and shapes in the falcon’s feathers and the gold lip and side elevate the look which really sealed the deal for the customer. They liked that the frame feels simple and classic yet also modern, which in combination with the vintage print creates a well-designed piece that is timeless.
The Quarry collection consists of two profiles with gold-leafed sides in eight on trend jewel tones ranging from indigo, hunter, and dark teal to warmer tones of gold, soft pinks and coral.
This is Taran’s first adventure into the Quarry collection. She says she loves the line and was very excited to get to use it on this piece. Taran’s frame design tastes lean towards color, metallics and natural textures. Says Taran, “Bella really does a great job at making selections which embody these characteristics”.
When interviewing Taran for this blog we asked if there were any closing remarks. She really plucked at our heart strings with this comment, “Bella is the Ferrari of picture frame moulding”. Wow! Thank you so much and vroom vroom, Taran. Vroom vroom!
Congratulations to Taran on the Summer Bella Creations Contest win! Taran’s well-presented bird of prey makes her the second entry in our grand prize contest. The grand prize was a free trip to WCAF Vegas in January 2021. We now know that will be postponed so we’re changing this to a cash prize instead!
