New Bella SUMMER 2024: Ferrero
If you are a chocolate lover, you probably don’t have to guess too hard at the naming inspiration behind this delicious new line. Take one look at the metallics and textures and let your mouth water thinking of those famous Italian candies - Ferrero Rocher.
MEET FERRERO
Fun fact: Ferrero Rocher’s story begins in Piedmont, Italy and the company has been around for over three generations. The surname Ferrero literally means “smith” - or a person who works with iron. That blend of forging and building, coupled with beautiful, sweet creations carries through to Ferrero today - which is now one of the world’s largest sweet-packaged food companies with over 35 much-loved brands, such as Kinder, Nutella, Tic Tac (news to us!) and more sold in over 170 countries.
So, there’s really no shortage of inspiration to draw from but we of course always love a classic. And the signature gold, foil wrapper screams this classic Italian chocolate like nothing else. That’s why in our new Ferrero line you’ll find plenty of textured metallics to work with, from Toffee Caramello and Butterscotch Truffle to Toasted Marzipan and Amaro Nougat. (Hungry yet?)
But we’ve also got some richer colors to work with including an Espresso Ganache and subtle Salted Marshmallow. The Ferrero line comes in a ¾” face Cap as well as a ⅞” face Bevel for a total of 14 new mouldings.
Despite its sweet origins, Ferrero plays a sophisticated companion to all kinds of artwork - from landscapes and photography to vintage-inspired pieces and three-dimensional objects. Use it in a monochromatic way with a striking piece in a similar color, or let the metallic shine through in artwork with all sorts of colorful contrasts. We’d love to see this elevated line used on some fine art pieces as well!
Metallics are the new neutrals, after all.
