Surprise! New Bella SUMMER 2023: Våris
We are so excited to roll-out a Summer "mini intro" to one of our favorite lines in Våris that includes two new profiles in six icy finishes. You may recall (if your memory goes all the way back to 2018) that our Våris line was originally inspired by Nordic design, culture and icy landscapes. However, no one should sleep on Swedish summers and the cool vibes they bring forth.
VARIS
“Ett liv utan kärlek är som ett år utan sommar.” - Swedish Proverb
(Translation: A life without love is like a year without summer.)
Våris, which stands for “spring ice” in Swedish, describes the specific textural quality of a frozen lake under the bright sunlight. And as that ice thaws the particular joys of a Nordic summer take shape in the form of long daylight hours, warmer temperatures and a particular love for the Nordic summer solstice, when everyone marks the longest day of the year with traditions such as dancing around a flower-adorned maypole and singing folk songs.
The colors we’re introducing to the Våris line offer that particular “cool summer” vibe with shades ranging from Arctic White to Frosted Plum. Våris 2.0 also offers up a more simple cube profile with all one finish on face and side - unlike Våris 1.0 which features a dual texture. A sleek ¾” face allows for elegant framing options, while the new tall scoop options bring the drama ideal for more two and three-dimensional framing projects.
Like the OG Våris, this frame look plays very well for any style or decor type that embraces the ever-popular Scandi design look and works to create that coveted sense of Hygge. However, we also love it with pieces inspired by nature - from lush green landscapes to mountain views and lake vistas.
