Prisma Additions 2017
You can already customize a Prisma frame over a million ways with our 46 colors, 19 patterns and 9 shapes, but that's not enough! We need more! For your designing pleasure, we present two new colors and two new patterns for 2017.
NEW PAINT COLORS
OLD GLORY RED + ADMIRAL BLUE
By adding Old Glory and Admiral, we've rounded out our red and blue ranges. When picking these colors, we weren't trying to be patriotic. Could it be the Chicago Cubs World Series win going to our heads? Actually both colors were developed from customer special requests. Admiral was special ordered for a project and we just loved the result so much we made it a keeper. Old Glory came from a customer looking for a true American flag red. We researched the correct Pantone swatch, found the coordinating paint and the rest is history.
Requests for color chips on the Crystal acrylic or Sea acrylic or both can be made through your sales rep or customer service. If you use our display board for your color chip samples, our recommendation is to remove the four random pattern chips and work in the new colors.
NEW PRISMA PATTERNS
Jasper is named for artist Jasper Johns. You can see the pattern's resemblance to his abstract cross hatch painting motif. Jasper adds a graphic linear accent when presented in contrasting colors as shown here in Silver on a Clear field, or a cross hatch texture when done in all one color.
Kaleidoscope is a result of the geometry behind the Jasper pattern. Outlining the hatch mark areas from the Jasper creates a series of random triangles, hexagons, parallelograms and rhombus shapes much like the random view through a kaleidoscope. Painted in two colors, this pattern can give a stained glass window or giraffe vibe while a single color shows off the beauty of line, shapes and mathematics.
HOW TO ORDER
The good news is that these patterns and colors are available for order immediately. Corner samples and color chips can be requested through your sales rep or Bella customer service.
The bad news is that these patterns and colors are not yet available as selections on the Prisma Visualization software. We've got our developers hard at work on this but, sorry, we don't have an expected completion date at this time.
